Dudziak, War Time

Mary Dudziak's new book, War Time: An Idea, Its History, Its Consequences, is now published. USIH readers first got a taste of her argument in her compelling contribution to the Age of Fracture roundtable I put together for the last USIH conference. Dudziak's discussion of time in relation to history generated a fascinating conversation in the comments section.

Dudziak's book is already generating some buzz. Eric Posner reviews it unfavorably at The New Republic.

Dudziak responds to Posner here.

  1. I just glanced at Eric Posner's review. You would think a prof at U Chi Law School would be able to match a singular subject with a singular verb. Yet he writes: "The fuzziness of the boundaries lack [sic] relevance."
